The Cider Mill of Zoar Crafting Retreat is a beautiful 6,000 sq. ft. crafting retreat located in historic Zoar, Ohio. The original Cider Mill was built in 1863 and is designated on the National Register of Historic Places. The retreat is located just minutes off I-77 and less than 20 minutes from US Route 30. It is within 2 hours of Columbus, Cleveland and Pittsburgh. The beautiful retreat facility offers spacious relaxation areas, personal crafting space, and amazing food if that’s not enough for you - the retreat is located near Ohio’s Amish Country and numerous local wineries.
The Cider Mill is the perfect opportunity for you to relax, have fun and preserve memories with old friends or with new ones you make at the Cider Mill. We can’t wait to meet you and introduce you to this beautiful place we call the Cider Mill.
The crafting retreat is open for all genres of crafting. Our store will primarily cater to paper crafters but also has a little of this and that for all crafters.
Most weekends will be open crafting where you bring your supplies and create. We will have some themed and special event weekends where classes will be offered by instructors teaching new techniques in particular craft areas. These special weekends will be announced in advance and we believe will fill up quickly!
